Can a creature without a heart act morally?

"heartless" is episodes in the life of a robot, chapters of a peculiar book of moral philosophy, and a song without words.

It started with questions about the mythology, “personhood” and moral status of robots but has tunnelled down into rabbit holes of war, love, and self-control, biography and fiction.
